Stockholm Fair: what a great experience!

It was with great pleasure that we attended the Stockholm Furniture fair this year. We braved the temperatures along with stand buddies, Sancal and Parquets Energia Natural, which was a great experience. Thanks to all those who dropped by and a special thanks to Sancal and Energia Natural for sharing a space so equally with mutual beneifit to all involved.

Llegamos con mucha ilusión a la feria del mueble de Estocolmo de este año. Desafiamos a las temperaturas de la mano de los compañeros de fatigas de Sancal y de Parquets Energia Natural. Muchas gracias a todos los que se acercaron y nos apoyaron, en especial a Sancal y a Energia Natural por compartir el espacio con tanta equidad y por conseguir que los beneficios de todos los involucrados se repartieran por igual.

Looped and twisted

Okay, so most of us have got the message. Natural materials are beautiful, they have an innate warmth and tactility,that man-made just can’t seem to reproduce.
But sometimes it does seems a bit heavy, a bit rustic-thick, solid timber, masculine leather, honed rock. It is exciting to see a deft playfulness in a designs utilising natural timber, like in this Agatha lamp by LZF Lamps. Here, a thin timber veneer is looped and twisted into a stylish pompom. Delicate, still with all the benefits of real wood, but just that little bit more elever.” URBIS magazine, february 2012.

We are off to brave the polar cold in Stockholm, Sweden where we will be participating in the Northern Furniture and Light Fair. Please drop by and see our collections while they are in your part of the world.
