Geometry Store, Berlin
Days ago, I was watching a not-so-old movie called Pi. It was about a Mathematician who was obsessed with numbers and find their relationship with everything that happens in universe. Well, Geometry, a fashion store in Berlin has a similar concept. It resembles the house of an obsessed professor who tries to find numbers and perfect shapes even in chaos.
Plajer & Franz Studio were in charge of creating this dark but fascinating and minimalist atmosphere, with spectacular home-style furniture and images of animal skeletons which remind us geometry is not only about squares, circles or spirals. It’s about organic shapes made with perfection and completely planned by nature.
LZF’s Mikado lamps bring light to this amazing project, where fashion designs from Gaspard Yurkievich, Irie Wash, Y3, Won Hundred and John Galliano are combined with home accessories created by Gijs Bakker and Arik Levy, creating a space where fashion meets science, and light meets the shady mind of a scientist.
A very special and nice place to visit and find the latest in fashion for men. Highly recommended.
