LZF: It’s only natural
Sometimes we like getting back to our roots.
Here at LZF we love getting in touch with nature. It’s a little known fact that one of our lighting artisans actually lives in a pine tree and is known locally as the ‘mad-man of Chiva’ (although his real name is David ). And Chelo, our accounts woman lives on a diet of locusts and wild honey – along with the occasional Snickers bar. Even Sandro, our esteemed co-founder has been known to strip off his clothing, and run naked along the Autovia del Este at midnight singing I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts.
So it’s hardly surprising that this week we should want to celebrate the natural timbers that are at the heart of every LZF product we make.
Each and every LZF lamp is created from planet-friendly FSC controlled timber, sourced from happy forests.
Our Beech and Cherry Wood comes from Europe, while our Tulip Poplar (the basis for our coloured lamps) is derived from the Eastern USA. As a diffusion material for light, all of these veneers are without parallel.
So today we thought we’d celebrate timber in the raw by enjoying the beautiful images taken by our well-respected photography team.
Sandro will be celebrating in a slightly different way…
