LZF Lamps UFL Group Offices, New Zealand
While our New Zealand friends may talk a bit funny, what with their fesh and cheps (fish & chips), they do know a thing or two about great design. Indeed the small island nation really punches above its weight when it comes to home-grown design, much of it inspired by the natural environment for which NZ is so world renowned. Matter of fact, you could say that the land of the long white cloud is like a gigantic national park with several fancy design shops.
We are proud to say that the UFL Group is LZF’s valued representatives in New Zealand. The locally owned and operated business dates back some 40 years and specialises in the supply of high end architectural contract and residential furniture. For more than four decades UFL Group has provided timeless solutions for designers and their clients, assisting in creating inspiring environments for corporate, educational, hospitality and residential projects with a carefully selected range of the world’s most superior furniture and lighting.
This is where LZF Lamps comes into the equation. Not only does UFL Group supply a wide range of our gorgeous handmade timber veneer lamps to an appreciative New Zealand clientele, they also elected to use a couple of our stunning lamps in their headquarters in Auckland.
Take a look at the images below and you’ll see a magnificent Link Chain by Ray Power and Marivi Calvo. The Link, like all of our wood lamps, is made from FSC certified timber. This particular example, is a one-off bespoke design made especially for the space at the hub of the office. The Link Chain echoes the timber edging of the reception desk that it hangs above, and gives warmth to the cool, grey and white colour palette.
Ditto when it comes to the I-Club floor lamp by the German design meister, Burkhard Dämmer. We’ve always loved the I-Club with its slick linear form, and while it is more commonly used as a suspension lamp, we reckon the floor-lamp version is just as sexy.
Thanks for your years of support UFL Group. Long may we prosper together.
