LZF LAMPS | Summer Interlude by Luisa Vera | Handmade Wood Lighting since 994 | Wood touched by Light

Close friend of Marivi Calvo during her New York period (84-90) and illustrator for such publications as the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, Luisa Vera has jumped into the LZF ring and designed this year’s LZF summer vacation poster.

Depicting our beloved CEO´s Marivi Calvo and Sandro Tothill in complete summer getup, the poster portrays their fun and far out natures in her signature whimsical kooky style.

Luisa, now living in Barcelona, studied Fine Arts in Valencia before moving to New York to continue her studies at the New York School of Visual Arts in 1985. Her works have graced the pages of many tabloids but have also found their way into dozens of  books, posters, catalogues and art exhibitions.

During her free time, Luisa works on her illustrated travel journal detailing her ongoing global wanderings which, when it suits, may include her partner and son (and, of course, the kindle).

She is a dear friend of ours and great company and we love that she has finally found a little gap in her busy agenda for us.

NOTE: Our offices will be closed from the 10th of August to the 23rd of August.
