Spanish designer Miguel Herranz has named the creative process that he applies in both design and industry-related areas ‘The Conceptual Nebula’. This analytical-anarchical process makes it possible to create conceptual tools for finding real design solutions, based on analysing three core elements found in every project: culture, industry and society. Miguel has dubbed one conceptual tool ‘The Ordered Chaos’; he makes use of this tool to develop projects with a formal richness, constructive simplicity and the serenity of the chaos found in nature. At LZF, Miguel’s curious design approach is found in both the Mikado and Orbit lamps.
